To expand our Monitoring segment, we are looking for a Technical Applications & Field Engineer for our customers in Europe in full-time as soon as possible.

Your tasks:
- Responsible for supporting sales and delivery of of Megger’s Monitoring solutions (specifically: partial discharge testing instruments and online monitoring systems), mostly from a technical point of view, for the region of West Europe through cooperation with Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Global Industry Leaders, Product Management, Marketing, and Factory Management
- Main duties: Product sales presentations, demonstrations, quotation configurations, project management, project commissioning, technical support, attending trade fairs to promote Megger solutions, customer training, and other ad-hoc tasks to support sales and customers
- Cooperation/input to other teams (back-office/inside sales, marketing, service/repair) to serve customers and Megger strategies
- Work together with customers and product managers to create marketing case studies, technical papers, and industry presentations
- Domestic and international travel approx. 50%
Your Profile:
- MSc in Electrical/Power Engineering or BSc degree in Electrical/Power Engineering plus equivalent practical field experience
- Passion for Digitalization, Energy Transition, and trends that drive the rapidly changing power utility industry
- At least 3 years of experience in the electrical power industry, including 1 or more years field experience with testing and measurements in power systems or sales of similar technology
- Knowledgeable of high voltage testing of electrical power assets (transformers, motors, generators, switchgear, cables, etc.) and their behaviours, ideally introductory knowledge / understanding of partial discharge and dissolved gas analysis
- Preferably, understanding of different electrical power asset monitoring systems
- As a technical member of the sales team, you should possess the ability to highlight product features, benefits, and competitive advantages in order to convince potential customers
- Good communication and active listening skill with the ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and across cultures
- Fluent presentation and language skills: English and one additional European language
- Team player with an openness to feedback and a desire to grow
- Self-starter with an ability to multitask and make decisions
