As a Type Testing and Conformity Engineer, you ensure that our products comply with the relevant national and international standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines throughout their entire life cycle.
In this role, you’ll support our development projects from the initial product concept through to technical approval and make a significant contribution to product safety, quality, and global market access. As part of our growing Reliability, Safety & Compliance division, you’ll work closely with Development, Quality Management, Product Management, and external testing and certification bodies.

After a targeted training, you will take on the following tasks independently:
Planning, conducting, documenting, and evaluating type tests, particularly in the areas of EMC, climate, the environment, mechanical stress, and technical safety
Support for development projects with regard to standards, product approvals, product safety, and CE conformity
Application of the requirements from relevant national and international standards, guidelines, and regulations to our products and testing processes
Planning and coordination of internal and external audits and certification activities
Preparation and maintenance of technical test reports, certificates of conformity, and approval documentation
Analysis of test results, as well as the identification and tracking of appropriate improvement measures
Implementation and Further Development of In-Process Sampling Inspections
Participation in failure analyses and reliability assessments
Support in establishing standardized testing processes, appropriate metrics, and automated test procedures
Monitoring and evaluating relevant standards and regulatory changes
Collaboration with internal departments, external testing laboratories, and certification bodies
Your profile:
- A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable technical field
- Ideally, professional experience in one or more of the following areas: type and product testing; EMC; environmental simulation and climatic testing; CE conformity; product safety; certification or approval of technical products
- Practical experience with electrical and electronic measurement and testing equipment
- Knowledge of how to apply national and international norms and standards is an asset
- An analytical and structured approach to work, as well as a strong sense of quality and responsibility
- Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating in interdisciplinary and international teams
- Initiative, a solution-oriented approach, and a proactive work style
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills
